Chapter Thirty-Five: Defiant Disciple
Lin Yuan smirked inwardly, sensing Gu Qinghuan’s resolve wavering. Sighing theatrically, he feigned resignation. “If Master’s unwilling, so be it. But who’ll come next? You, or another? These past days, Martial Aunt and Junior Sister sought me out. Who’s next, I wonder?” Gu Qinghuan’s heart clenched. His words struck a nerve—within days, Yun Qinyue and Su Nianyao had pursued his Pure Yang energy. If this continued, other female cultivators might uncover his secret, making it harder for her to monopolise him. A surge of possessiveness gripped her.
Biting her lip, her eyes flickered with conflict, but the allure of his power overwhelmed her. Glancing at Su Nianyao, now stable on the jade bed and unlikely to wake soon, she rationalised, This is for my Nascent Soul breakthrough, for Tianji Dao Palace’s future. Forgive me, Nianyao. Suppressing guilt, she whispered, barely audible, “Fine… I’ll do it.” Lin Yuan’s eyes glinted with triumph, though he nodded calmly. “Thank you, Master.”
Gu Qinghuan took a deep breath, steadying herself, and approached the jade bed. Su Nianyao’s delicate, flushed form stirred a flutter in her chest. Leaning down, her lips parted, she cautiously began absorbing the residual Pure Yang energy. Lin Yuan watched, his smile widening, relishing her reluctant compliance. Gu Qinghuan’s movements were delicate, as if fearing to rouse Su Nianyao, her cheeks tinged with a faint blush, her eyes betraying a mix of shame and necessity. She’d never imagined herself, the sect leader, in such a compromising position.
Lin Yuan savoured her conflicted demeanour, knowing he’d seized control, no longer her pawn. Stepping off the bed, he glided behind her. Gu Qinghuan jolted, her ears reddening. “Xiaoyuan, don’t…” she stammered, her voice quivering. He chuckled, teasing, “Master, you’ve always craved my Pure Yang energy. Why shy now?” Her plea was desperate. “Please, somewhere else… Nianyao’s here, I’m afraid…” Her heartbeat thundered, Lin Yuan’s breath amplifying her tension, his proximity tightening every nerve.
Her fingers trembled, still carrying Su Nianyao’s faint scent, a guilty reminder. She dared not turn, nor pause, fearing escalation. Yet Lin Yuan pressed closer, his hand resting on her shoulder, his warm breath laced with provocation. “Are you scared, Master?” he murmured, his voice low and husky. “Or… do you secretly relish this?” Gu Qinghuan’s ears burned, a flush spreading to her neck. The revered Tianji Dao Palace leader, reduced to this by her disciple, was mortified.
“Xiaoyuan, stop this,” she protested, her voice shaky, clinging to her authority to mask her turmoil. “If Nianyao wakes and sees, how could I face her?” Lin Yuan’s hand slid down her arm, eliciting a shiver. “Master, you’ve agreed—why fuss over details? Nianyao won’t stir soon. Relax.” She knew Su Nianyao’s slumber was deep, yet that knowledge fueled her shame. If caught, her dignity as sect leader would crumble.
Her fingers gripped the jade bed’s edge, knuckles whitening. Reason battled desire, urging her to push him away, yet the pull of Pure Yang energy rooted her. “Xiaoyuan, please… let go,” she whispered, almost pleading. “We can… go elsewhere.” Lin Yuan’s smile was victorious. “No. Master, stop stalling. Let’s finish before Nianyao wakes.” Gu Qinghuan’s heart flared with indignation, but her body softened, yielding.
“Fine, hurry,” she muttered, closing her eyes. Lin Yuan channelled Pure Yang energy into her, its warmth enveloping her. Her body relaxed, her cheeks flushing, a soft moan escaping as if in answer. Lin Yuan watched her dazed expression, satisfaction swelling. “How’s it feel, Master?” he asked, his tone teasing. Gu Qinghuan nodded faintly, her body trembling, struggling to suppress her longing. His smile deepened—she was unravelling.
Leaning close, he whispered, “Master, since you love it, shall we continue?” Her body jolted, panic flashing, but desire swiftly overtook it. Biting her lip, she murmured, “Xiaoyuan, don’t… push too far.” Lin Yuan chuckled, undeterred. “Master, you wanted this. How’s that too far?” Speechless, Gu Qinghuan lowered her head, letting him guide her further.
