I Am the Fated Villain - Chapter 151
Chapter 151: In fact, I mostly love to kill innocent people. The cat-mouse show is quite interesting.
Inside the grand pavilion, the middle-aged woman with golden wings felt a shiver run down her spine. At this moment, even her soul trembled. She dared not even turn around. She was worried that the group of young beings behind her would see her face drained of colour at this moment.
Gu Changge! How could he have found her? And when did he manage to enter? Why hadn’t the many ancient and divine existences outside sensed his presence? The middle-aged woman with golden wings was filled with an icy dread.
She hailed from the Golden Crow clan, possessing only a fraction of the Golden Crow bloodline. Consequently, she was not considered an actual Golden Crow. Though her strength was only in the Heavenly God Realm, within the same realm, she was considered exceptional. (Ed Note: Golden Crow is a legendary creature, considered to be the incarnation of the sun.)
Facing Gu Changge, all she felt was palpitations and fear. This young man was so powerful that it was terrifying. Especially just now, she had been bad-mouthing Gu Changge behind his back. He had definitely heard every word.
At this moment, the middle-aged woman with golden wings felt utterly hopeless.
“Why didn’t you continue? I’m curious about your words,” Gu Changge inquired casually. He found a place to sit down nonchalantly. His expression carried a faint smile as if he were in his own home. There was nothing awkward or uncomfortable about him.
The group of young beings in the pavilion were still a bit dazed. They hadn’t yet grasped why a human had suddenly walked in. Most of them had only heard of Gu Changge’s name, but none had seen his appearance. Many had speculated that Gu Changge was sinister and hideous, never imagining the refined and elegant young man before them.
“Who are you? How did you get in?” The woman with wings and a beautiful face asked, frowned in displeasure.
She had never held a favourable view of humans. To them, who placed great importance on bloodline heritage, humans were a despicable lowly race. They couldn’t even be compared to their ancient and noble lineage. However, with the opening of the Ancient Immortal Continent, many humans had flooded in. This caused them extreme disgust and repulsion.
“I naturally walked in with my feet. The door is right there, and no one stopped me,” Gu Changge replied casually. After all, who could stop him from freely traversing the void as the Void Son? Unless someone with Sacred Realm had sealed the space, how many Sacred Realm cultivators could there be in such a small town? Here, he could do as he pleased.
When they heard that no one had stopped Gu Changge, many young beings raised their eyebrows in disbelief. It was only possible to enter this small gathering with an invitation letter. Could a human somehow get an invitation, or were the attendants at the door simply mistaken?
“Gu…”
At this moment, the middle-aged woman with golden wings finally reacted, and her voice quivered. She was about to speak but was interrupted by Gu Changge, who smiled calmly.
“We’ve known each other for so many days; there’s no need to say many polite words,” Gu Changge remarked. Indeed, he had been chasing the woman for quite some time, so it wasn’t entirely inaccurate to call them old friends.
Upon hearing this, the woman revealed a more hideous smile than tears.
“My Lord, you’re jesting…”
Her back was filled with a chill, a fear akin to facing a world-devouring beast. She couldn’t even speak clearly. Gu Changge had the power to wipe out everyone here. At this moment, their lives were in his hands, and she dared not reveal Gu Changge’s true identity.
She didn’t know Gu Changge’s intentions here, but they weren’t benevolent.
“Third Aunt, who is he?” a young woman with golden wings asked. He was equally displeased, though she refrained from immediately driving Gu Changge away.
Xue’er!
The middle-aged woman wore a bitter smile, unsure of what to say. Fear consumed her thoughts. Gu Changge seemed oblivious to the hostile expressions of the creatures around him. He casually poured himself a glass of wine, lifted it to his lips, and sipped. He couldn’t help but express his admiration, “This wine is quite good, with the essence of various immortal fruits…”
Upon hearing this, someone in the group displayed a disdainful expression and said, “This wine is unique to our Ancient Immortal Continent. You won’t find it outside, let alone taste it. It’s not something you can easily come across.”
Gu Changge nodded in agreement. “Indeed, but that’s not a problem. I’ll have it in the future.”
The people present couldn’t quite grasp the meaning behind his words. For some reason, they all felt uncomfortable and uneasy at this moment. An aura emanated from this young man that sent shivers down their spines.
“Who the hell are you, and why are you at our banquet?” Someone couldn’t help but shout.
They couldn’t see Gu Changge’s true strength, but since he appeared to be of a similar age to them. They assumed he must be at the same level as them at best. After all, cultivators worldwide were renowned for having lower cultivation levels than them. Even Lord Long Teng, at the time, was an entire realm above his opponent. How could he have been defeated without the opponent’s underhanded tactics? This was a permanent scar in their hearts.
For the unfamiliar young man before them, they had no goodwill whatsoever and were even inclined to drive him away directly.
“It doesn’t matter who I am. What matters is what you said just now, which piqued my interest,” Gu Changge said casually. He looked at everyone present with great interest. This cat-and-mouse game was rather amusing.
At the same time, he glanced at the middle-aged woman with golden wings. His eyes carried an inexplicable meaning. She understood the implication all too well – if you reveal my identity, everyone here will die. That was Gu Changge’s message. She trembled uncontrollably, unable to suppress her fear.
“What’s wrong, Third Aunt?”
The young woman who had spoken earlier noticed the middle-aged woman’s unusual behaviour. Upon hearing this, the middle-aged woman trembled and shook her head, saying, “I’m fine, I’m fine…”
The young beings present were not oblivious to the strange atmosphere that had emerged. Why did this young man’s arrival leave the female expert from the Golden Crow clan so frightened?
“This is the territory of all the Ancient Immortal Clans. Even if this person is audacious, would he dare to cause trouble here?” someone scoffed, feeling that the man before them, no matter how formidable, wouldn’t dare to make trouble on their turf.
“What are we talking about? We were discussing that vile scoundrel named Gu Changge. We will kill him to avenge Lord Long Teng!” A beautiful woman with feathers on her body spoke with hatred and anger.
“He’s the young genius from your human race who used despicable methods to kill Lord Long Teng in a fair fight. We’ll remember this grudge!” the other beings chimed in.
At this moment, it seemed like all their hatred was directed at Gu Changge, and they all wished to vanquish him. They didn’t notice the middle-aged woman’s trembling form and that her face had lost all colour as she turned away from them.
“Oh? So, Gu Changge used despicable means?” Gu Changge responded with apparent interest, showing no remorse for being portrayed as a villain.
“Hmph, that guy launched a sneak attack during the battle, then threatened the lives of our Ancient Immortal clans to prevent Lord Long Teng from resisting, or else he would kill people,” one of them explained.
“Lord Long Teng, for the greater good, chose not to resist. Otherwise, how could a minor False God Realm cultivator like him have harmed Lord Long Teng?”
Upon hearing this account, everyone became filled with righteous indignation. They were incensed as if a fire of fury had been ignited within them, and the entire pavilion resonated with their anger and hatred.
“Oh, so you’re saying that Gu Changge is indeed a despicable scoundrel,” Gu Changge responded, taking another sip of wine and nodding in apparent agreement.
His response left the others somewhat astonished. They had expected him, being a member of the human race, to offer some kind of defence. However, they were surprised to see him agreeing so readily. They didn’t know what to say, and some even softened their attitudes.
“This Gu Change isn’t a good character even among humans. He doesn’t deserve that title of ‘young forbidden supreme’ he’s earned,” the woman with feathers on her body muttered angrily. Her words suggested a solid desire to see Gu Changge torn to pieces and reduced to dust.
At this point, the middle-aged woman with golden wings had turned ashen-faced. She felt Gu Changge’s aura locked onto her, and any slightest movement on her part would invite Gu Changge’s swift and merciless strike. So, she dared not utter a word.
“However, I think there’s something you’ve got wrong,” Gu Changge spoke with a smile that made them feel like a gentle breeze was washing over them.
“What is it that we’ve misunderstood?” someone asked while he was puzzled.
“Gu Changge may indeed be despicable, but what he loves most is indiscriminate slaughter, especially for those who slander him behind his back. He shows no mercy,” Gu Changge replied with a faint smile.
“Isn’t that right?” He even turned to the middle-aged woman behind him and asked.
The middle-aged woman shivered, quickly turned her head, and forced a smile, saying, “Young Master, what you’re saying is simply not true. It’s all false. These rumours were spread maliciously to defame him. At the time, Lord Long Teng was completely defenceless…”
She continued to speak, trying to explain away the rumours.
However, this statement instantly widened the eyes of the young creatures before him. They couldn’t believe what they were hearing. Some turned red angrily and shouted, “What nonsense are you talking about? Lord Long Teng could never have been defeated head-on!
It’s impossible, pure fantasy! It’s an impossible thing to happen!
Lord Long Teng was invincible from birth, destined to dominate the world. He’s the young leader of the Ancient Immortal Clans! He couldn’t have been defeated, especially not by a member of the human race!”
Many of them roared, feeling that their beliefs were being insulted.
These words made the middle-aged woman with golden wings tremble uncontrollably. She wanted to stop or command them to be silent, but it was too late.
“Yes, what nonsense are you spouting? I, Gu Changge, am nothing more than a despicable scoundrel. I’m nowhere near as powerful as you claim,” Gu Changge said, smiling with evident interest.
What?!
This statement left the young creature utterly stupefied, some unable to react. The woman who had harboured intense hatred and anger toward Gu Changge was now left dumbfounded, pointing at him with a finger, unable to find words.
“What… What did you say?” she was extremely shocked, almost unable to believe it.
Did they mishear?
Was this young man before them actually Gu Changge?
As they finally comprehended, the group of beings stared wide-eyed, their bodies chilled, frozen in place as if plunged into an icy abyss. Especially since they had just been hurling insults at Gu Changge in his presence. Their scalps tingled with disbelief.
“Didn’t you just say you wanted to kill me to avenge Long Teng? Well, here I am in front of you,” Gu Changge remarked mockingly as if playing a game of cat and mouse.
As his words fell, he waved his sleeve, causing the entire pavilion to rumble. Thick mist billowed, runes shimmered, and it seemed they had been enveloped in another world.
No!
The woman with wings angrily berating Gu Changge was engulfed in terror, astonishment, and despair as a terrifying force struck her. In an instant, she exploded into a mist of blood, with her body and spirit annihilated.
The others quickly realised that a deadly battle was unavoidable today.
Ahhh.
Let’s fight him! Avenge Lord Long Teng!
Kill him!
These young creatures were filled with rage and fear, realising that the heavens and earth were sealed off. Their only way out was to kill Gu Changge. Otherwise, they couldn’t escape!
Boom!
Various divine lights surged from their bodies, shrouding the surroundings in an obscure haze. Some summoned their treasures, while others tore apart Divine Talismans. Some roared and displayed their most potent techniques to break free.
At this moment, they appeared to be valiant warriors ready to fight to the death against Gu Changge, the archvillain.
“Gu Changge, if you have any grievances, take them out on me! Spare them!” It had come to the point where they had no reservations, and the middle-aged woman, trembling, stood in front of Gu Changge. Her aura began to rise, revealing her formidable Heavenly God Realm. Her transcendent form resembled a galaxy, vast and boundless, as if it could break out of the pavilion and appear outside.
“Spare them? Who will spare me then?” Gu Changge smiled faintly.
Buzz!
Countless divine lights condensed, and as Gu Changge’s palm descended. It was as if myriad stars were falling from the sky, causing the heavens and earth to tremble and the universe to shatter.
Puff!
The middle-aged woman with golden wings suddenly coughed up blood as if struck by lightning. She was knocked to the ground by a single palm strike, her body exploding into pieces, and her bones shattered beyond count.
How can you be this strong?
Her expression was filled with despair and disbelief. After all, she was a Heavenly God, an existence that stood high above others and was powerful enough to easily slaughter an entire city!
She knew she might not be a match for Gu Changge, but that should have been the case only after Gu Changge had employed numerous methods. Yet here she was, unable to withstand even a single strike from Gu Changge?
At this moment, her soul trembled with fear, reaching the peak of despair. The fact that Lord Long Teng was killed by such a young taboo figure was no longer a surprise. Gu Changge’s strength was terrifying, to the point of being hopeless! Even the older generation might not be his match, so who among the younger generation could contend with him?
How is this possible?
What?! Even the Third Aunt is no match for him?
Third Aunt is a Heavenly God expert!
Could it be that Lord Long Teng was really killed by him head-on?
Witnessing this scene, all living beings fell into despair. The most potent presence around them had almost been annihilated by Gu Changge’s single strike. What chance did they have?
It’s a shame. I wanted to play with you a bit longer.
Gu Changge’s expression carried a tinge of regret, but his words hardly showed any honest regret.
Boom!
He acted swiftly, wasting no more time. His giant palm crossed the space before him, instantly breaking through as if cleaving the universe. The area had already been sealed off, and no sounds or movements from within would be transmitted outside.
Boom!
A horrifying aura materialised into a massive millstone, capable of crushing everything and exuding a terrifying presence that made souls tremble.
“No……”
“I don’t want to die!”
Accompanied by a scream.
One after another, the blood mist dissipated, and no matter how the group of young creatures before him resisted, it was futile. The gap was just too vast! Apart from one survivor, all the other creatures had been annihilated.
The survivor was a terrified and pale woman with feathers on her body looking at Gu Changge in utter fear.
“Please don’t kill me,” she begged, trembling with fear.
Never in her wildest dreams did she expect that all of them combined would not be a match for Gu Changge’s casual strike. He was simply too terrifying, and they stood no chance.
Gu Changge looked at her and smiled faintly. “No need to rush. I won’t kill you now.”
Why are you doing this?
The middle-aged woman next to her was clearly in the depths of despair. She wanted to summon her Heavenly God artefact, but as Gu Changge made another move. It exploded in the void, turning into ashes with a loud bang. It was shattered with a single palm strike.
Her face turned pale and bloodless.
“You brought this upon yourself by seeing things you shouldn’t have. Can you blame me?” Gu Changge casually remarked as if swatting away a group of ants.
“I can swear on my Dao Heart that I won’t tell anyone. Spare my life!” The middle-aged woman was desperate, realising that her momentary thoughts had brought such calamity upon her. She couldn’t help but kneel and beg for mercy, pleading for her life. No one wanted to die.
“Compared to a Dao Heart oath, I still believe in dead men,” Gu Changge said with a faint smile, showing no intention of letting her go. He always acted meticulously, leaving no hidden dangers behind. With that, he extended his hand and struck the middle-aged woman with a palm, obliterating her body and soul and ending her existence.
Having completed these actions, He continued on his path.
Gu Changge didn’t choose to leave but waited for the right moment. After all, he had no intention of dealing with the scene himself. Otherwise, how could he ensure people knew about his “good deed”? The woman he left alive was terrified and had previously declared her intention to kill Gu Changge to avenge her Lord Long Teng. But now, she was on the verge of losing control.
“Speaking of which, someone should have noticed the anomaly here by now,” Gu Changge estimated the time and then deactivated the array that had shrouded the vicinity.
Suddenly, a strong and pungent scent of blood wafted out.
Soon, many creatures on the street sensed it. “What’s that intense smell of blood?” “What’s happening? How can there be such a strong smell of blood?” People were shocked and rushed towards the source of the scent.
Damn it!
A powerful being immediately noticed the scene inside the pavilion and angrily turned pale. They rushed towards it.
Shortly after, they witnessed the scene inside. Amidst the dissipating blood mist, a young man casually killed a Winged Race female. He seemed somewhat surprised when he noticed their arrival.
“Huh, I actually got noticed?” He said as the space before his eyes blurred, and he stepped into it. Many powerful people from various Ancient Immortal Clans arrived, but they were too late to stop him. Their faces turned green, and they roared in anger.
“Damn it! How dare he come onto our territory to kill people! This is an outrageous provocation!” They were furious, shouting in overwhelming anger.
There were even some of their own people here! This debt had to be repaid!
Most importantly, they had yet to recognize who this young man was, his appearance, or any details about him.

The first chapter where the dialogue in not in bold letters.
Seregosa
Also the first chapter where a very clear drop in flow and quality is seen. It’s clear it’s not the same translator anymore since the quality lowered and the writing style changed.
Still, it’s not at the level of “machine translation” that was mentioned in the review in novelupdates. It’s just not as good. I hope the first translator comes back after some chapters because this really lowers fun value. I feel like this novel depends a lot on the quirkiness of its characters or rather their particular energy and I can’t “feel it” as clearly as I could in earlier chapters. Feels like the mc suddenly lost a lot of life/energy.
