Chapter 19: Great harvest! Supreme God seat!
The harvest is good, Su Mo thought with a smile after leaving Lilith.
The attributes he obtained from Lilith were also quite impressive. Although Lilith wasn’t a powerful Demon God, he managed to acquire some valuable power attributes from her. However, her spiritual attributes were even more abundant. Nevertheless, these attributes were not the most significant gain from his encounter with Lilith. The most significant gains were the few points of divine power he acquired from her, as well as a small fragment of a skill!
“Howl of the Demon!” Su Mo exclaimed as he used the powerful skill, even causing the Spike Demon God to feel somewhat weakened. With a bountiful harvest under his belt, Su Mo left the area and moved on to the next destination.
It didn’t take him long to arrive, and he repeated his old trick, forcing out another formidable Demon God. Su Mo continued this pattern until he had spoken with six Demon Gods, all of whom he had known since he became a Demon God himself.
These six Demon Gods were considered “acquaintances” to Su Mo, and acquiring their attributes wasn’t difficult for him. They didn’t want to risk starting a war with Su Mo, so a little deception was all that was necessary. As a result, Su Mo’s harvest was quite substantial. He acquired numerous attributes, including three skill fragments and two rule fragments. Rules were also a type of power mastered by gods, which could significantly increase a god’s combat strength.
It would be challenging for other protagonists who have obtained the attribute-picking system to replace Su Mo’s gains from these six Demon Gods.
Even if the other party’s system was high-level from the beginning, quantity could outperform quality. However, divine power, divine skills, and rule fragments were challenging and would take a long time to obtain.
After visiting the six demon gods, Su Mo looked towards the Abyss. He pondered for a while and decided to come back later.
He knew that encountering unfamiliar Demon Gods in the Abyss could pose a challenge, as it was not easy to approach them without engaging in battle. Unless it was a battle situation, it would be difficult for Su Mo to get close to unfamiliar Demon Gods. Moreover, if a battle did break out, it would be challenging for Su Mo to utilise the attribute-picking system using the villain panel. As a result, he decided to postpone his dealings with the other Demon Gods for the time being.
And if the battle turned on, it would be difficult for Su Mo to display the villain panel and load the attribute-picking system.
In order to access the villain panel, he would have to reduce the concentration of the Phantom bloodline, which could be a risky move during a battle between gods. Therefore, Su Mo decided to play it safe and began to make his way back along the abyss ravine.
As Su Mo made his way back along the abyss ravine, the blood moon remained suspended above the abyss, emanating a strange light. Having been a Demon God for several years, Su Mo knew that this particular blood moon signified the presence of a tremendously powerful Demon God in the Abyss!
Su Mo couldn’t help but think, “If I can get close to him, the gains would be immense.” However, getting close to the blood moon was a challenging feat. It was an extremely dangerous adventure for any Demon God and one that could even be considered a tempting fate. The existence represented by this blood moon was already infinitely close to the legendary Supreme Godhead!
“The Supreme God Throne.”
That was the position that countless gods yearned for. Whether they were from the heavens or the abyss, they all vie for the chance to ascend to that position and would be the first to become the master of the world.
In the past, Su Mo also regarded this position as his goal. Even now, it was still a target. He became a Demon God in less than twenty years, he knew he still had thousands of miles to go, but he believed that by playing the game of confrontation between protagonist and villain well, he could reach that position in a shorter time.
Su Mo looked back at the blood moon. The road to the top must be taken step by step.
His task was to find more protagonists, hunt them down, and obtain their protagonist values and golden fingers. With that in mind, Su Mo began to make his way back along the ravine, preparing to return to the world of the gods.
