Chapter 45: What’s wrong with me showing off Manaphy?

With his new companions, Guxin couldn’t resist showing off a bit. He recorded a video of Diancie and Manaphy playing together and promptly shared it in his chat group.

“Meet the newest member of the Pokémon House, Manaphy! Haha, how do you all feel about it?” Guxin tapped the screen and enjoyed his freshly delivered ice cream.

“Mana~” Manaphy floated over to Guxin, curiously eyeing the ice cream.

“Do you want some, cutie?” Guxin retrieved a new spoon from behind the counter, scooped up a bit, and offered it to Manaphy.

“Mana!” As Manaphy tasted the sweetness and chilliness in its mouth, its big eyes lit up, and it made a delighted sound.

Was it just Guxin’s imagination, or did he see stars twinkling around Manaphy? That was hope!

“Haha, enjoy it, little one. I’ll give you some every day from now on.” Guxin affectionately rubbed Manaphy’s little head and placed the ice cream in front of it.

Manaphy felt soft and squishy, like touching a piece of jelly.

“Manaphy, Water type, Floatzel Pokémon. Ability: Damp. Moves: Aqua Tail, Ice Beam, Surf, Energy Ball, Blizzard, and Telepathy.”

After this picture was uploaded to the chat, the group fell silent.

The flashy names of those moves, and most importantly, “Mythical Pokémon of the Water-type”?

After a while, It’sTheMaleFox retracted his message.

Ruan Xinyi gave her sister an odd look.

“I don’t really care about that stuff.” Ruan Xinyi shrugged. She was never interested in family social affairs.

“And there’s this Bai family’s campus belle, currently the most famous one in Shanghai. The one who’s officially known as Bai Qianqian, right? As for this girl, she’s probably the same as the one in the video, Chu Kelian.”

Ruan Xinyi looked at the chat list, impressed.

Wow, none of these people were simple. And there’s also that Fox Trainer, who’s Chen Yun’s cousin.

Oh well, it’s not like any of this concerns me. Ruan Xinyi shook her head, deciding not to dwell on it.

And if he ever found out that she wanted money to buy a pet, he would definitely give her a hard time.
