However, Laozi and Yuanshi, the prominent Pangu sect, refused to compromise. They had significant pride, and as older brothers, they were unwilling to admit defeat to the Heavenly Lord.

In their view, the Heavenly Lord’s actions deliberately insulted them. But in the Heavenly Lord’s perspective, he only sought to wield his sword and cut all the bonds of friendship and enmity. His sword heart gained enlightenment, and he realized that he had unknowingly grasped the second sword of creation, the Sword of Creation.

Under the power of this sharp sword, he cut through the river of ancient times, annihilating countless multidimensional spaces. Laozi and Yuanshi channeled their powers into the Heavenly Primordial Linglong Pagoda to defend against the attack.

The mysterious yellow aura, thick and intricate, created a towering barrier that seemed impervious. However, when the Heavenly Lord’s sword struck, the mysterious yellow aura was no match and shattered.

Laozi and Yuanshi displayed shock on their faces as the sword’s energy tore their robes. They looked disheveled and greatly embarrassed.

Immersed in the sword energy, their bodies trembled, blood gushed from their mouths, and their life force was instantly extinguished. Under the onslaught of the myriad sword energies, the great thousand worlds within them collapsed, countless stars fell, and their life force and vitality were in turmoil.

Even the power of their Grand Luo Dao Fruit was in disarray!

Watching the departures of Heavenly Lord and Houtu, Laozi fell into a long silence before saying, “Heavenly Lord is stronger than us, if only for a while… In the future, we will also become quasi-saints.”

Yuanshi’s eyes were filled with anger. He nodded heavily and said, “Today’s humiliation… In the future, when I achieve quasi-sainthood, I will repay it to the Heavenly Lord.”

From the perspective of Laozi and Yuanshi, the true path was in the hands of Hongjun. As long as they devoted themselves to practice under Hongjun, they were confident they could surpass the Heavenly Lord in the future. The humiliation suffered today will surely be reclaimed in the future.
