Chapter 11: Shining Conqueror’s Haki!
Nightfall on the nameless island…
Beside the bonfire, Ace, having activated Battle Hibernation, was already fast asleep. His body had swollen like a massive balloon. Next to him lay the skeletal remains of the Sea King he had devoured. Garp sat silently, watching over him.
Huff… Huff… Huff…
With each breath Ace took, his inflated form gradually shrank.
Within moments, his body had returned to normal, except this time, even to the naked eye, it was clear that Ace had grown taller. His muscles had become more defined and his strength was still increasing.
“Instant absorption…?”
Retracting his Observation Haki, Garp muttered to himself. A terrifying natural talent. Even prodigies like Kuzan couldn’t match this kind of physical growth. With this monstrous physique, the Mera Mera no Mi, and his innate Conqueror’s Haki, Ace’s future potential was beyond imagination. Garp grinned to himself.
Looks like I’ll have to give him an even stronger “Fist of Love” tomorrow. After all, I have to teach Ace that being a pirate is not a worthy path.

Huff!
The next morning, Ace opened his eyes immediately sensing the changes in his body.
He clenched his fists feeling the sudden surge of raw power.
【Your comprehension is unparalleled! You can perfectly perceive physical changes. Constitution increased by 30%!】
Ace smirked.
“As expected. No matter how powerful Battle Hibernation and Complete Absorption are Real combat is still the fastest way to grow.”
A 30% boost in a single night— An astonishing rate of progress.
“Yo! Ace, you’re up! Ready for another lesson from your grandpa?!”
Not far away, Garp grinned, cracking his knuckles.
“Tch! Don’t get cocky, old man!”
Seeing Garp’s stance, Ace’s eyes gleamed with excitement, he charged forward, flames engulfing his fists.
“Hahahaha!”
Garp laughed as he wrapped his right fist in Armament Haki and met Ace’s attack head-on.
Boom!
……………………………………………………………………………………..
Huff… Huff… Huff…
Just like the day before, Ace lay sprawled on the ground, panting heavily.
“His improvement… is insane.”
Garp watched silently. In just one night, Ace’s overall strength had increased by nearly 40%.
In addition to his raw strength, his speed, reaction time, and even his Mera Mera no Mi powers had skyrocketed. This was all because he trained to his limit and then consumed a Sea King afterward. Garp had never seen growth like this before. Even the most talented Marines in history couldn’t be compared to Ace’s absurd rate of improvement.
This only strengthened Garp’s resolve—
Ace must become a great Marine!
Perhaps, one day, he might even surpass his father—
Gol D. Roger.
“So, Ace, have you finally given up on being a pirate?”
Garp grinned, rolling up his sleeves.
“Oh, and that pain you’re feeling? That’s Armament Haki.
With this power, we can strike even Logia users like you.”
Garp smirked.
“Join the Marines, and I’ll teach you how to use it.”
Ace remained silent, still gasping for air.
“Tch. Who needs such a boring power? Haki is dull and unimpressive—nothing compared to my Mera Mera no Mi. Even if you gave it to me for free, I wouldn’t want it.”
Ace sneered outwardly. Though deep inside, he was thrilled.
Armament Haki was strong but it wasn’t what he was truly interested in.
“Dull and unimpressive?”
Garp twitched.
Iron Fist Garp was feared across the seas for his fists alone.
And yet, in Ace’s eyes, his strength was nothing but “ordinary.”
Wait. Garp suddenly had a realization.
Ace is still just seven years old. A child. Of course, he wants flashy techniques. If I can impress Ace with something spectacular, maybe I could finally steer him away from the idea of becoming a pirate.
“Oh? You think the Marines lack grandeur?”
Garp’s grin widened.
“Then let me show you the most powerful and most brilliant ability in the world.”
Garp’s gaze darkened. As if out of nowhere, a terrifying surge of purple-black lightning crackled across the sky.
