Chapter 4: The Enormous Fruit and Childe Yunmeng’s Supplication.
The barrel of the gun gleamed menacingly, pointing directly at Childe Yunmeng.
A sensation of life-threatening danger enveloped her.

Zhao Renzhou held the shotgun’s stock in his right hand.
His left hand gripped the fore-end of the barrel.

He loaded a shell.
Strolling over unsteadily, childe Yunmeng took a deep breath.
Kneeling and crawling on the ground, she looked up at Zhao Renzhou:
“What do you want?”
Although her tone remained as calm as possible,her clenched fists on the ground revealed her inner turmoil no one wants to die.
And she was no exception.
Zhao Renzhou chuckled and said:
“My big brother is involved in quite a few things.”
“There must be a lot in all of this.”
“He’s been keeping things from me, his little brother.”
“My sister-in-law probably doesn’t know much.”

Zhao Renzhou’s ears twitched, and he smiled:

Kneeling and crawling on the ground, Childe Yunmeng breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing Zhao Renzhou’s request.

“Get some people to guard outside.”

Revive him and bring him back?
Zhao Bao was somewhat puzzled.
But he nodded continuously:
“Understood.”He waved outside.
Two people came in.
They dragged Chen Jinlong away.
Zhao Bao followed them out.
Arranging for guards.
When the sounds of people disappeared,
Childe Yunmeng, who had been crouched behind the sofa, finally dared to raise her head.
But as soon as she looked up,
She saw Zhao Renzhou crouched in front of her, though she didn’t know when he got there.
She was so frightened that she recoiled.
Before she could react, Zhao Renzhou reached out and grabbed the collar of her qipao.
“Sister-in-law…”

Childe Yunmeng was suspended in mid-air, her whole body tilting backward as Zhao Renzhou held her by the collar.
