Northern Myanmar: Bloodshed in the Golden Triangle, Have I Become a General? - Chapter 41
Chapter 41: Chi Yunmeng’s Frustration, Zhao Renzhou: ???
Northern Myanmar.
Kachin State.
Jawei Town.
Villa.
After the convoy returned from the Shan armed forces, Zhao Renzhou instructed Zhao Zhan to take Fuluo to the base’s prison.
He headed to the villa himself to check on Zhao Ning’s condition. Just thinking about Zhao Ning gave Zhao Renzhou a headache. He had never used the serum on a female before, and who would have thought it would have these side effects. This was truly inexplicable.
In a black Jeep, he sped all the way to the villa estate. Zhao Renzhou got out of the car and climbed the steps, taking three quick steps at a time, and entered the villa. With a single glance, he spotted Chi Yunmeng sitting on the sofa, hugging her knees, and nibbling on an apple while watching TV.
“Where’s Aning?” he asked.
“How is she?”
Hearing Zhao Renzhou’s voice, Chi Yunmeng turned her head.
She sized up Zhao Renzhou from head to toe, making a clicking noise with her mouth.
“Asleep,” she said.
“Didn’t expect this,” she continued, her mouth making a clicking sound again. “Zhao Lao Da, you play around so much.”
“And even drugging…”
Zhao Renzhou snapped irritably, “Get lost. If I decide to deal with you, your days are numbered. Got an itch, huh?”
He walked over to the sofa and sat down directly. His left arm encircled Chi Yunmeng, and he pinched her harshly, causing Chi Yunmeng to furrow her brows and say, “Ouch.”
“In a moment,” he replied, “What kind of drug did you give Zhao Ning? The changes are too drastic.”
Zhao Renzhou raised an eyebrow, “What changes?”
Chi Yunmeng rolled her eyes, “She was flat this morning, and now…” She used her hand to indicate, “It’s almost a C cup. What kind of drug did you give her?”
“Is there any more?” she asked. “Give me some too?!”
Zhao Renzhou’s expression was peculiar as he pushed Chi Yunmeng aside and gave her a once-over.
“You…” he said. “Don’t you think you don’t need it? Any bigger, and it’ll be a burden…”
Sensing Zhao Renzhou’s teasing tone, Chi Yunmeng’s face turned slightly red. She raised her fist and punched Zhao Renzhou.
“Go to hell!” she exclaimed.
“I didn’t say it in that way,” Zhao Renzhou chuckled. “I’ve noticed some changes in Zhao Ning’s figure too, especially her even proportions. What kind of drug did you use? I want it too.”
After all, Chi Yunmeng was in her late twenties, not a young girl like Zhao Ning. She worried about aging and any signs of wrinkles, always trying to hide and minimize them. With Zhao Ning’s sudden and significant transformation, Chi Yunmeng was eager to know how Zhao Renzhou had achieved it. After all, who wouldn’t want to become more beautiful?
Chi Yunmeng grabbed Zhao Renzhou’s arm and acted coquettishly. Zhao Renzhou furrowed his brow, seemingly contemplating whether to give her the serum or not.
He decided to give Chi Yunmeng a dose as well but didn’t respond immediately. The atmosphere fell into silence.
Seeing Zhao Renzhou’s reaction, Chi Yunmeng suddenly felt a surge of distrust. Her eyes welled up with tears, and she gently bit her lip. With a swift motion, she pulled her hand away from Zhao Renzhou and began to rise, heading upstairs. She didn’t know why, but she suddenly felt incredibly uncomfortable.
Zhao Renzhou quickly grabbed her and pulled her into his arms, asking, “Where are you going? I didn’t say I wouldn’t give it to you.”
Chi Yunmeng struggled for a moment but eventually gave up, turning her head away to hide her tears. Her voice quivered with a hint of restrained emotion as she said, “I don’t want it.”
Zhao Renzhou sighed softly. “It’s too late.” He pulled Chi Yunmeng up, and with his right hand in his pocket (actually from the spatial dimension), he took out a vial of diluted serum. He then lifted Chi Yunmeng’s nightdress directly.
He injected the serum into her pale and tender waist, and Chi Yunmeng’s brows furrowed. She bit her lip and remained silent, seemingly still upset.
Zhao Renzhou casually crushed the used needle and discarded it into the trash. “This stuff can be quite painful,” he remarked. “Endure it.”
Chi Yunmeng let out a light hum but didn’t speak. Her tightly furrowed brows indicated that it wasn’t as easy as it sounded.
After a moment, the pain caused Chi Yunmeng to break into a cold sweat, and her face suddenly changed color. Just like Zhao Ning, her face turned slightly red. She felt a sensation in a certain part of her body that overwhelmed her mind, causing dizziness.
It was only then that she realized why Zhao Ning had been in that state when she was brought over.
This sensation…
This feeling…
Chi Yunmeng had initially intended to resist it, but she had overestimated her own willpower. She quickly surrendered, and her body couldn’t stop trembling. Her legs clamped together involuntarily.
Her gaze became uncontrollably hazy. After all, she wasn’t a young girl like Zhao Ning, who could endure such sensations due to shyness. Chi Yunmeng couldn’t hold out for even half a minute before looking at Zhao Renzhou.
Then, she pounced on him.
Zhao Renzhou’s veins bulged in frustration. He muttered to himself, “What the hell… does she think I am?”
He couldn’t believe that she mistook the serum for an aphrodisiac.
Cursing under his breath, he watched as Chi Yunmeng, who had lost her rationality, kept lunging at him. Zhao Renzhou simply lifted her up, carrying her over his shoulder as he headed upstairs.
It was nighttime, and the sun had already set. Zhao Renzhou emerged from the villa and looked at the fiery clouds on the side of the Shan armed forces.
Even in the darkening sky and from a considerable distance, he could clearly see the northern horizon ablaze with a deep red glow. The burning fire had heated the air itself.
Unaware of the chaos that had erupted throughout Myanmar after an afternoon of fermenting tensions, Zhao Renzhou continued to gaze at the fiery spectacle in the distance.
The nation’s attention had turned to this area, as the wildfire had become enormous. It had grown so large that the Myanmar government was powerless to organize a firefighting effort.
Not only were the border roads rugged and difficult to traverse, but they were also within the Shan armed forces’ territory, making it impossible to mount a rescue operation. The only hope was that the fire would claim the lives of some of the Shan armed forces.
Zhao Renzhou and his team had set the fire earlier in the afternoon, and it had spread for more than twenty kilometers. This long fire line, as seen on satellite maps, clearly indicated that it wasn’t a typical forest fire. It was undoubtedly arson.
The Myanmar government strongly condemned this act and declared its intention to capture the arsonist and impose severe penalties.
After all, this incident had resulted in the destruction of forests covering hundreds of thousands of acres. No one wanted to bear that responsibility.
The Myanmar government was now gathering all available information to quickly determine the truth and provide an explanation to the outraged citizens.
Meanwhile, Zhao Renzhou, the mastermind behind the arson, strolled casually out of the villa, opened the car door, started the engine, and drove towards the base.
Zhao Renzhou was preparing to visit General Fuluo to check on how he was doing after being “taken care of.”
Inside the villa, Chi Yunmeng climbed out of the large bed in the bedroom.
She stretched lazily, flexing her body. To her surprise, she felt absolutely no fatigue. She got up and walked over to the full-length mirror.
As she gazed at her body, she noticed the significant changes. Her thighs, once thicker, now appeared slender and elongated. Her waist was more delicate, and she could faintly discern the outline of her abdominal muscles. Her skin had become tighter and more firm.
Chi Yunmeng admired herself in the mirror when she heard a knock at the door. She assumed it was Zhao Renzhou returning and didn’t bother to pick up her clothes. She headed straight for the bedroom door.
“Back agai—”
The door swung open, revealing two people who stared at each other in shock.
Time seemed to freeze for a moment.
BAM! Chi Yunmeng slammed the door shut and quickly grabbed a dress to cover herself. She then returned to the door, opened it, and looked at Zhao Ning.
“When did you wake up?” Her voice was deliberately calm, trying to conceal her embarrassment.
Fortunately, Zhao Ning’s attention wasn’t on this situation. She didn’t notice the awkwardness. Her face turned from pale to red and back to pale again.
She hadn’t expected this woman to be so shameless, not even wearing clothes in her own home.
“Shameless!” Zhao Ning practically hissed these words through her teeth. She shot Chi Yunmeng a fierce glare and then turned and left.
She had initially come to confront Chi Yunmeng, but this unexpected turn of events left her feeling bewildered. She decided to return and have a serious talk with her older brother about this shameless woman.
Once she saw Zhao Ning leave, Chi Yunmeng let out a sigh of relief. It was just too embarrassing.
It’s all that damned Zhao Renzhou’s fault…
Yes…
It’s all his fault…
[Zhao Renzhou: ???].On the other side, Zhao Renzhou returned to the base shortly after driving. The prison cells within the base were still brightly lit, and faintly, one could hear the sounds of agonizing screams.
