Northern Myanmar: Bloodshed in the Golden Triangle, Have I Become a General? - Chapter 42
Chapter 42: Fuluo in the Punishment Room, Zhao Renzhou’s Ruthless Hand
Zhao Renzhou entered the base’s prison. All his subordinates immediately stopped what they were doing and greeted him. Zhao Renzhou waved his hand, signaling everyone to leave, except for Zhao Zhan, whom he left behind.
Zhao Zhan yawned and approached. “Big brother.”
Zhao Renzhou smiled. “Did you manage to get anything out of him?” He looked at General Fuluo, who was bound to the torture rack, appearing lifeless.
At this point, General Fuluo had lost his authoritative demeanor. His camouflage military uniform, once a vibrant forest green, was now in tatters with strips hanging loose, a clear result of whipping—the lightest of punishments. He bore multiple marks from electric shocks and burns. The air was filled with the scent of scorched flesh.
Zhao Zhan shrugged. “Nothing. This guy hasn’t said a word.”
“He’s quite stubborn,” Zhao Renzhou remarked with a raised eyebrow. “Did you ask him?”
Zhao Zhan smirked. “I didn’t.”
Rolling his eyes, Zhao Renzhou said, “Then what good are you?”
He kicked out with his foot, but Zhao Zhan quickly dodged. “Isn’t this cooperation with you?” he said, avoiding Zhao Renzhou’s leisurely kick.
Zhao Renzhou chuckled and reached for a nearby bucket of saltwater. He scooped up a handful and splashed it onto General Fuluo. The saltwater felt like scalding lava as it coursed over Fuluo’s tortured skin, penetrating deep into his flesh and bones.
The excruciating pain jolted General Fuluo, who had been in a semi-conscious state, back to full consciousness.
His muscles quivered uncontrollably, and he clenched the remaining half of his teeth tightly. A wild, beast-like roar erupted from his throat. After the violent convulsions, he seemed to have expended all his strength.
The chest heaved violently,
Making a wheezing sound.
With great effort, he raised his trembling head,
Uttering words filled with utmost hatred:
“You…”
“TMD…”
“Why don’t you ask?!”
“CNM!”
“A bunch of lunatics!”
Why the hell don’t you ask me what I have to say?!
Fulu’s head, which he lifted, shook violently,
Blurry, unclear.
He looked ahead at the blurry figure in blood.
Blood flowed into his eyes.
In Fulu’s eyes right now,
Everything was a blurry shade of bloody red.
Roaring with endless resentment, mixed with some fear,
He really didn’t want to get beaten anymore.
He couldn’t take it anymore…
He had given in a long time ago.
But these people just kept hitting him,
And kept asking whether he’d talk or not.
But they never specified what they wanted to know.
Just kept saying “talk or not”…
“Talk or not”…
I’ll say, screw you!
You don’t ask, and you expect me to talk, damn it!
Zhao Renzhou chuckled,
Picked up the rubber baton nearby.
Swung it a couple of times.
Smacked it against Fuluo’s face.
It made a cracking sound.
“You’re quite spirited.”
“Alright.”
“Take a break first.”
“Let’s get him treated.”
“Don’t kill him.”
“Keeping him alive might come in handy later.”
Smack!
The rubber made contact with flesh.
The sound of bones cracking echoed.
Fuluo’s remaining teeth in this life.
Were shattered by Zhao Renzhou.
There was nothing left now.
Simultaneously, Fuluo was knocked out cold.
Zhao Renzhou chuckled lightly.
Tossed the rubber baton aside.
Pulled out a vial of new serum from his pocket.
Tossed it to Zhao Zhan.
“Take a shot of this.”
“It’s good for your body.”
Zhao Zhan took it.
Without hesitation, he injected it into his body.
Zhao Renzhou watched for a moment.
Nothing seemed unusual.
Indeed…
That kind of thing only affects women…
Damn it….
Almost got tricked to death….
