Northern Myanmar: Bloodshed in the Golden Triangle, Have I Become a General? - Chapter 9
Chapter 9: The Forgotten Chi Yun Dream and the Black Lace Nightgown
After giving orders to his subordinates, Zhao Renzhou found himself with nothing to do. He suddenly fell into deep thought, as if he had forgotten something.
What could it be?
After a moment, he slapped his forehead.
“Darn it?!
I forgot,” he exclaimed. “I forgot about that woman.”
He headed towards Chen Jinlong’s villa, realizing he had been so busy that he had completely forgotten about Chi Yun Dream. she was still tied up in bed hopefully, she was alright.
Meanwhile, inside the villa, Chi Yun Dream was tied to the bed, her face pale, trembling all over. She was starving, her stomach in spasms, and cold sweat covered her body.
Chi Yun Dream: ?
Chi Yun Dream: Zhao Renzhou! I hate you!
When Zhao Renzhou returned to the room, this was the scene he walked into.Chi Yun Dream, tightly bound in a hogtie position, furrowed her brows.
She kept her eyes shut as sweat soaked the pristine white bedsheets, forming the shape of a large figure. Chi Yun Dream’s wrists were chafed, and blood stained the sheets.
Hearing the door open, Chi Yun Dream weakly opened her eyes. Zhao Renzhou clicked his tongue and said, “Did I disturb you?”
“Huh? Brother-in-law,” Chi Yun Dream replied, seeing Zhao Renzhou walk in, still making sarcastic remarks. Her stomach twisted with anger, and she bit down on her silver teeth, cursing intermittently, “You…damn you…Zhao Renzhou….”
Then, she suddenly felt dizzy and lost consciousness.
After battling all night and being tied up and hungry for half a day, Chi Yun Dream, who was already suffering from stomach spasms due to hunger, finally passed out upon seeing Zhao Renzhou appear.
As night fell within the villa…
On the second-floor bed, Chi Yun Dream gradually regained consciousness. Her eyelashes fluttered, and she opened her eyes.
What met her gaze was the familiar ceiling. Chi Yun Dream froze for a moment. This guy wouldn’t just leave me here and forget about me, would he?
She tried to sit up, and to her surprise, she could move. She looked down and realized she had clothes on, but they were empty inside. And this outfit?
She couldn’t help but grit her teeth as she looked at the black lace nightgown that barely reached her thighs. Where did Zhao Renzhou get this thing? It was even worse than not wearing anything at all!
Chi Yun Dream propped herself up and noticed some porridge and food on the bedside table. She took a few bites and then tried to get up and see what was going on.
However, when she reached the door and twisted the handle, she couldn’t seem to open it, no matter how hard she tried.
The more Chi Yun Dream twisted the doorknob, the angrier she became. She kicked the door with all her might, but it had no effect.
“Damn it…” she muttered in frustration. Her temples throbbed with anger, but she felt helpless. All she could do was wait for Zhao Renzhou to “summon” her, whenever that might be.
Kesin State, located in the northernmost part of Myanmar, consisted of eighteen towns and over six hundred villages.
Among them, the town of Gawei, where Zhao Renzhou was located, was situated at the northernmost border of Kesin State. It lay at the intersection of Myanmar, the Dragon Nation, and India.
Kesin State was part of the Golden Triangle, but it wasn’t in the core area. The true heart of the Golden Triangle lay deep within the Shan State, adjacent to Kesin State and at the border of both countries.
Due to Gawei Town’s proximity to the Dragon Nation and the border, it was the ideal location for smuggling raw materials into the Dragon Nation.
It was precisely because of this that the Tazhai Group of the Dragon Nation chose to collaborate with Chen Jinlong in this region.
Chen Jinlong provided the raw materials, while they received technology in return – a win-win partnership.
However, it had been disrupted by Zhao Renzhou, and he had no intention of continuing such business.
On a pitch-black night, on a decrepit and worn-out road, Zhao Renzhou led a convoy. They were a few miles away from the border when Zhao Renzhou, relying on his memory, located an abandoned and dilapidated building.
He signaled the convoy to stop.
Zhao Renzhou got out of the vehicle, carrying a golden suitcase in his hand, with Zhao Bao following closely behind. After getting out of the car, Zhao Renzhou, under the moonlight, looked around.
He said to Zhao Bao, “Have your men wait here. I’ll call you over when it’s time.”
Zhao Bao hesitated for a moment and said, “Is this…”
“Alright,” Zhao Renzhou interrupted, smiling. He patted Zhao Bao’s shoulder and, carrying the suitcase, walked into the night.
He found the abandoned building and used the spatial decomposition of his military space to open the suitcase.
Unlocking a variety of firearms and weapons, Zhao Renzhou’s military space began to activate. The recently absorbed golden energy was depleted, but several large crates appeared inside the building in an instant.
Inside these crates were a hundred brand new AKM automatic rifles, along with thirty thousand rounds of ammunition, ten RPG-7 rocket launchers, sixty anti-armor high-explosive rounds, four flamethrowers, and one.50 caliber Desert Eagle.
Zhao Renzhou shook the Desert Eagle in his hand. This weapon had considerable power and weight, not suitable for combat personnel but rather perfect for his use.
The .50 caliber could supposedly take down an adult moose with a single shot within two hundred meters, although Zhao Renzhou had never personally tested this. In his past life, however, he had used it to eliminate quite a few people.
After playing with it for a moment, he loaded the Desert Eagle, flicked off the safety, and holstered it at his waist. Then, he took out his walkie-talkie and said, “Ah Bao.”
“Bring the team and the vehicles over.”
With the guns in hand, it was time for some action.
