The Super Rich: From Zero to the Top of the World! - Chapter 6
Chapter 6 Random Reward
In the passenger seat of the Porsche 911 Turbo S, Li Xiyan took the initiative to start a conversation.
“Where do you plan to go to school?” Li Xiyan asked.
An Liang responded with a question, “I heard you’re planning to go to Fudan University?”
Li Xiyan confirmed, “Mm.”
She added, “I plan to major in Journalism and Media.”
An Liang, while driving, responded, “That sounds good. Their Journalism and Media program is quite strong.”
Fudan University’s Journalism and Media was one of their four major programs, basically unmatched in its field.
An Liang continued, “For someone like me with just over 400 points, my first consideration isn’t the school but the city.”
“Ah?”
Li Xiyan was taken aback.
An Liang explained, “My score is too low to get into a top school, so I have to pick a city I like first, preferably a developed metropolis. I definitely don’t want to end up at Sanxi Economic College.”
Sanxi Economic College was a joke in Shengqing City!
Despite being an economic college, it was located in a rural area of Shengqing’s suburban district, over 30 kilometers away from the nearest county town. Isn’t that toxic?
“Which city do you like?” Li Xiyan asked curiously.
An Liang explained, “When choosing a city, I prefer to base it on lifestyle habits, but first, I rule out Shengqing City.”
After all, An Liang was from Shengqing, and staying there to study would be unbearable for him.
“Considering Shengqing’s culinary style, I prefer cities with spicy flavors, so I rule out most coastal and northern cities. In the end, I narrowed it down to Tianfu and Yanggui.”
An Liang continued, “Between Yanggui and Tianfu, Tianfu is much better in terms of economy, cuisine, and overall cost of living. So you get it, right?”
Li Xiyan countered, “Big cities have all kinds of food. Take Shanghai and Beijing, for example. They offer a variety of cuisines from all over the country.”
An Liang laughed.
“Can I understand this as you inviting me to Shanghai?”
Li Xiyan rolled her eyes at him.
“You’re so narcissistic!”
“You’re really beautiful!” An Liang responded with a smile.
“Hmph!”
Li Xiyan snorted but smiled slightly.
After about ten minutes, An Liang dropped Li Xiyan off downstairs and took the initiative to ask, “Goddess, can we add each other on WeChat?”
Li Xiyan didn’t refuse and brought up her QR code. An Liang didn’t like using QQ because there’s an annoying feature where frequent contacts have fire icons, and small boats growing into giant ships. Such a setting was absolutely toxic!
For instance, if An Liang were chatting with two girls, and both had fire icons, but one had a small boat and the other didn’t, wouldn’t the one without a boat ask about it?
WeChat was much better!
With its “simple” chat options, various friend permissions, and group settings, plus the dual WeChat mode, it perfectly met An Liang’s needs.
If a young, successful person wasn’t insecure, surely they’d have a bunch of girlfriends, right?
At nearly 9:00 PM, An Liang didn’t drive the Porsche 911 Turbo S home, as its origin was hard to explain. Even though the system had handled all the normal car purchase issues, it hadn’t resolved things with An Liang’s parents.
An Liang only hoped that the Life Winner System could solve this “minor issue” later.
“I’m home!”
An Liang walked into the living room.
His father, An Shengyu, was watching the news and casually asked, “How many points?”
His mother, Sun Xia, also looked at An Liang.
“No surprises, my score was stable as always, 423 points. No chance for the top university, but no worries about the second tier,” An Liang said, sharing his college entrance exam results.
An Shengyu calmly asked, “Any schools you’re interested in?”
“I’m thinking of Tianfu, probably Tianfu Economic College. As long as I’m flexible with the admissions, my score should be fine,” An Liang responded.
“Alright,” An Shengyu nodded slightly. “As for the school, your mom and I won’t interfere. You choose your own path and walk it.”
An Liang readily agreed, then went back to his room. The Life Winner System issued a notification.
Ding!
“Congratulations, the host has shown off at a social gathering and received a random lottery chance. Do you want to draw now?”
Winning a reward for showing off? Interesting!
An Liang responded in his mind, Let’s try the lottery.
“Congratulations, the host has won 1 million Tiger Teeth coins. The system has automatically registered a Tiger Teeth account for the host and linked it with the host’s QQ account. You can now log in to Tiger Teeth using your QQ account.”
An Liang immediately asked, “Can I give these Tiger Teeth coins to myself as a reward and then withdraw them?”
“No restrictions,” the Life Winner System responded.
An Liang smiled. Of course, the Life Winner System was perfect!
No restrictions, which was exactly what being a life winner was all about!
As for really rewarding himself?
An Liang thought, it probably wasn’t necessary.
