Villain of the urban TV/Movie Time-Travel - Chapter 20
Chapter 20: Dating
Hearing Cheon Song-yi say they were just friends, Yang Yu sighed in disappointment and returned to his room.
Cheon Song-yi pouted as she watched him walk away.
“Seriously?! Does he expect me to confess first? Hmph!”
She rolled around on the couch, kicking her legs in frustration, clearly displeased with Yang Yu’s reaction.
Meanwhile, Yang Yu lay in bed, secretly pleased. Judging by her behavior, it was only a matter of time before things escalated.
But then he thought about the future—his number of women would only increase. Even though the world would freeze whenever he left, he still couldn’t take them with him. Once this mission was complete, he had to ask the system if there was a way to keep them all by his side.
As he was deep in thought, Cheon Song-yi suddenly barged in.
“Hey! Go rent me some comics! I’m bored out of my mind.”
She wasn’t actually in the mood to read. She just didn’t want to be alone and was curious about what Yang Yu was doing. But too embarrassed to admit it, she used comics as an excuse.
So needy. Yang Yu sighed internally.
Without even asking, he already knew what kind of comics she wanted.
He glanced at the titles she scribbled down and cringed. What the hell? How could a grown man like me rent these?
Instead of arguing, he simply pulled her into his arms, shifting her attention elsewhere.
Stunned by his sudden move, Cheon Song-yi barely had time to react before she found herself lying against his chest.
She made a half-hearted attempt to struggle. “What are you doing? I’m not that kind of woman!”
“Shh. Just stay quiet and lie here for a while.”
Yang Yu placed a finger on her lips.
Her face turned red, and she let out a few huffs of protest before settling down.
As she lay there, her heart pounded. Is he going to do something? Should I resist?
Her mind raced with all kinds of thoughts.
But after what felt like forever, he didn’t make a single move.
Curious, she peeked through half-lidded eyes.
Yang Yu had his eyes closed, breathing evenly—he had actually fallen asleep.
Her eyes flew wide open.
Unbelievable! A gorgeous woman like me is right here, and this guy just falls asleep?! No wonder he’s single!
She kept fuming internally, but eventually, sleep caught up to her.
When she woke up, Yang Yu was smiling down at her.
Flustered, she covered her face with her hands, peeking at him through the gaps between her fingers.
“So… does this mean we’re dating now?”
Cheon Song-yi gathered all her courage to ask, her bright eyes filled with anticipation.
Yang Yu remained silent.
Cheon Song-yi threw aside her embarrassment and sat up, staring at him.
“What’s your deal? Are you playing games with me? I’ve already put myself out there! What more do you want?!”
Tears welled up in her eyes as she glared at him.
She had already swallowed her pride and confessed—why wasn’t he saying anything? Did he not think she was good enough? If he didn’t like her, then why had he been so affectionate? Right now, she felt even worse than being hounded by dozens of reporters.
Finally, Yang Yu spoke.
“I liked you from the moment I first saw you. But there are things you don’t know about me… and I’m afraid that once you find out, you’ll regret this.”
The timing still wasn’t perfect.
In the original storyline, even after learning Do Min-joon was an alien, she didn’t care. But what if he told her he was a zombie? Would she react the same way? If she didn’t mind, that meant he could openly build his harem—after all, he was immortal.
Cheon Song-yi’s expression softened.
“What is it? Are you sick? If you tell me, we can face it together.”
“I need to figure out how to explain it. It’s a little… unbelievable.”
“Are you an alien or something? What could be so shocking? If you don’t like me, just say it. I’m not the kind of woman who begs after being rejected.”
Her voice wavered, but she forced herself to sound strong.
Seeing her like this, Yang Yu immediately pulled her into his arms.
“You’re overthinking it. Once we deal with your current situation, I’ll tell you everything. Then, you can decide for yourself.”
He pressed a light kiss on her cheek.
“I already ordered food—your favorites. Fried chicken, seafood, beef tripe, and beer. Go freshen up, and let’s eat.”
With that, he left the room.
Cheon Song-yi sat there, stunned.
Then, she clenched her fists.
“Ugh! He gets all the benefits, and I get nothing?! Hmph! Yang Yu, you’re not escaping from me!”
