Chapter 25: As the Yao Crown Prince, I Stop the Yao Clan from Destroying the Human Clan to Forge the Slaughter Wu Sword
The Human Clan was in turmoil, their despair evident as they gazed skyward. Above their lands loomed an overwhelming Yao Clan force, their numbers blotting out the heavens. At the forefront stood Donghuang Taiyi and Yao Saint Baize, their fearful glare sweeping across the Human territories.
Baize raised his hand, and an immense palm, spanning infinite multiverses and timelines, began descending. The sheer pressure from the hand left the humans paralysed with fear, their hope crushed beneath its weight.
The Human Clan was gripped by confusion and dread, not sure why the Yao Clan was suddenly attacking. Their had assumed their relationship was cordial due to the guidance of the Yao Crown Prince, Xia Tian, who also held the revered title of the Human Clan’s Holy Master?
Elsewhere in the Primordial World, many powerful entities watched the unfolding scene without intervention. Even the Six Sages, who held dominion over the heavens, remained silent. Only Zhen Yuanzi, moved by compassion, considered stepping in.
Before Zhen Yuanzi could act, a radiant sun rose from the Human territories, casting a warm and reassuring light. The humans, previously consumed by despair, felt a glimmer of hope.
On the battlefield, Baize froze mid-action, his brow furrowing. “Crown Prince, what is the meaning of this?” he demanded, withdrawing his hand.
Donghuang Taiyi’s expression mirrored Baize’s, his sharp gaze fixed on the sun. The colossal orb of light transformed, revealing Xia Tian’s Golden Crow form. His vast, resplendent body spanned millions of light-years, radiating golden brilliance that illuminated the cosmos.
In his Golden Crow form, Xia Tian descended and took his human shape, appearing as a black-robed young man. Standing between the Yao forces and the Human Clan, he faced Baize and Donghuang Taiyi with calm determination.
“As the Holy Master of the Human Clan, I must protect them,” Xia Tian declared, his voice resolute.
The reaction among the Yao forces was mixed. Some warriors exchanged disapproving glances; others questioned Xia Tian’s judgment. To them, his actions seemed to defy his duties as the Yao Crown Prince.

Below, the Human Clan leaders—Suiren, Youchao, and Ziyi—rose to meet Xia Tian. Bowing deeply, they pleaded, “Holy Master, please protect our people.”
“You have my word,” Xia Tian assured them. “As long as I stand, the Human Clan will remain safe.”
The humans’ despair shifted to cautious hope. Despite their confusion over the Yao Clan’s aggression, Xia Tian’s intervention reassured them. Their survival now hinged on his ability to mediate the conflict.
……………………………………………………………………………………………
Donghuang Taiyi, his voice tinged with frustration, addressed Xia Tian. “Tian’er, this is a matter of great importance to the Yao Clan’s future. Do not act recklessly.”
His words carried a veiled warning. Taiyi’s patience was strained, and his respect for Xia Tian stemmed largely from the Hongmeng Purple Qi Xia Tian had gifted to Emperor Jun. Without that gesture, Taiyi’s approach might have been far less restrained.
Xia Tian, undeterred, replied firmly, “Uncle, the Human Clan must not be exterminated. Their existence is vital for the harmony of the Primordial World.”
The scene unfolding in the heavens attracted the attention of the Primordial World’s most powerful beings. Zhen Yuanzi, in particular, observed, with a mixture of resentment and intrigue. His animosity toward the Yao Clan over Redcloud’s death was palpable, yet Xia Tian’s bold stand against his own people sparked a flicker of respect.
For Xia Tian, the stakes could not be higher. Allowing the Yao Clan to proceed would not only devastate the Human Clan but also obliterate his influence and standing as their Holy Master. Conversely, successfully halting the attack would elevate his reputation and potentially grant the Gate to the Primordial World enough energy to condense another Hongmeng Purple Qi.
As Xia Tian stood before Taiyi and Baize, the tension was palpable. The fate of the Human Clan, the balance of the Primordial World, and his own aspirations for ascension rested on the outcome of this confrontation.
