   Great Story, but had to drop it at chapter 224 due to translation quality. The quality of the translation is excellent up until chapter 151. After chapter 151, there is a noticeable change in translation quality as whoever was the translator before switched to someone else. I’d say the 4 chapters after 151 are somewhat readable, but the quality does pick up again afterwords. Even though it doesn’t have the same sense of humor and clarity (the tl/ed notes within the chapters) from the first translator, it still had a great flow with very few grammatical mistakes. But around chapter 200 is when the quality takes a nosedive. I feel like the translation is the best it can be, but it reads choppy. Like no one edited it to make the sentences flow well. That why I kept on going after 151 because at least the sentences flowed well and I was able to make sense of what it was talking about. But now it isn’t. Also, is part of chapter 224 cut or something? Because of how chapter 223 ended, the beginning of 224 feels like there is a bunch of dialouge missing. I wish i can keep going but if this is how the translation quality will be for the rest of the chapters, i will have to stop here.

      I just noticed that there is a recruitment notice and it seems that they will be fixing the quality of the translations after chapter 151, which is great! I will wait a few months and hope that when I pick this up again, that it won’t have this choppy, MTL like feeling anymore.

   Demonic translations are translating for free and they actually put effort into their translations, making it actually readable.

    the first start 1 – 28 was disappointing, no, it was not the protagonist who was disappointing but the opponent who was disappointing, I know “they” have to be persistent and determined but the feeling of disappointment because “their” struggle is pointless. the reason why maybe because I saw the storyline but in the comic version, there is a slight difference between novels and comics. which may often be overlooked.

       I’m at chapter 175 currently and their romance is getting better (with several heroines).
       However, in my opinion, romance in this novel is not like other good protagonist novels.
       It is up to you to interpret the definition of romance.

       Gu Changge is a cunning and calculative villain so he did nice things to heroines mainly for benefit (Fortune points) and make them think that Gu Changge has goodwill toward them.
       Still, I think he treats them well, he is not cruel toward his girls.

          There’s no romance in this novel, MC treats them well in order to get as much benefits from them as possible.

          Imagine that you own a plot of land and want to farm on it, you of course will take good care of the plot of land in order to get as good and as much crops as you can.

          The same can be said for the MC and the heroines. So no romance.
