Chapter 39 The Dominance of the Magician’s Battlefield! Kill the Opponent’s Commander!

His only saving grace was that a magician’s weakness was that the further away a spell is from the caster, the more it weakened in strength. This made it possible to avoid a spell.

Abboud was an experienced fighter but just as he thought he had escaped, Starfire Fury suddenly came into view! Lynn had practiced magic in actual combat, so he knew that the enemy would try and hide to escape the spell’s reach. So, he had already started practicing his control of the magic.

The process was very bitter and time consuming and also used a lot of mana, but the final result allowed for Lynn’s control of Starfire Fury to become amazing in reach.

“No! How could this be possible?! I surrender! Cast-”

His words were cut off as the Starfire Fury exploded. Abboud became a scorched corpse in an instant. All of the nobles were shocked and could not muster a sound. Lynn’s control with magic was beyond their imaginations. Even more so, Lynn’s death blows on the battlefield were so fierce that they started to sweat in fear.

Ino had fallen into a slump on the wall, and as Abboud was killed his legion fell into a panic. Without the commander, the legion’s combat effectiveness would be greatly reduced. Lynn’s legion was also shocked after feeling the power of his attack. Lynn had succeeded in delivering the killing blow, but he did not feel proud and suppressed his excitement. He then began to target the second highest ranking warrior.

The opponent noticed Lynn’s movements and gave up the frontal attack as they wanted to kill Lynn. If the magician did not die, their end was inevitable. Even though the next high ranking soldier was wearing heavy armor, his skill was extraordinary with a long sword. It gave Lynn a sense of danger, yet he did not move.

Two half beast warriors moved to intercept the ranked soldier who had made a fatal flaw. His mind had become absorbed with Lynn and he had forgotten to be wary of his surroundings. In response, Lynn looked for the next ranked soldier and aimed his magic at them. The powerful magic made a direct impact as another scorched corpse appeared. There was no suspense in Lynn’s magic.

The magician’s overwhelming dominance on the battlefield was manifested by Lynn’s hands. WIth a total of six spells, Lynn had killed six of the strongest enemy soldiers. The outcome of the battle had become obvious by now. With no high ranking soldiers, the remaining enemy troops were basically crushed.

The half beast warriors fought harder and harder and almost all of them were covered in blood. They appeared crazy with a powerful strength. Lynn had won a massive victory, as the enemy’s casualties exceeded two thirds of their entire army. The slaughter had just begun.

“Kill them all!” Ordered Lynn. “Leave no survivors!”
