Chapter 50. Tensions Are High! Lynn Invites the Enemy to Attack the City!

The seventeen hundred points Lynn received today plus the left over ten points from a few days ago were just enough to evolve nineteen half beast warriors. Lynn used up all of the points, and now there were nineteen half wolf fighters over three meters tall. The race of wolves this time around were the Blood Wolves, whose iconic feature was their red hair. This gave them a fierce presence, but they were all loyal to Lynn.

Rau had sent a letter to Lynn that stated how nervous he was as the warriors he had under his control were not enough to face an army of a thousand people. Fifty warriors was a pathetic number that had no deterrent effect even with their impressive combat effectiveness. Lynn only issued an order to dissuade Rau’s fears.

“Hoard weapons and armor. If Kumori sends a declaration of war, Fenglin Village will join in the fight!”

Theresa also took the initiative and sent some news to Lynn.

“The situation is more troublesome than I imagined,” the letter read. “The Northern Aristocracy asked me to stop sending you so much protection. Moreover, Earl Tejulen wrote me a letter asking me to stop being so partial to my subordinates. Lynn, I am afraid that I cannot stop Kumori from challenging you. Lynn replied with a simple letter.

More than two hundred warriors were standing together, which gave an immensely powerful presence.

Hammer worked his best and built sixty epees for Lynn, but he was at his limits. In this world it was difficult to forge without magic. Lynn’s mana value had also grown rapidly, as he had tested it two days ago and saw that it had exceeded 3,000. By now, it should have reached 3,150 points.

The atmosphere of war gradually rose as Kumori followed Lynn’s method of attack and wedged a stronghold not that far from Maple Leaf City with twenty siege vehicles approaching. Their army slowly began to gather, and it became apparent that the scale of the war was bigger. Lynn left to check on the weapons and armor. Their quality seemed to be average as it looked to be forged from relatively poor iron ore, but for this war it would not be a problem. Lynn asked the half beasts to start distributing the equipment. They became excited and began to put on their armor and arm themselves with a heavy sword, and started to test out their equipment.

“They are not heavy enough. It is not good enough to strike the enemy with, Master Lynn. These swords are worse than the ones made in our territory,” a beast stated.

“I feel like I can kill a hundred enemies!” Said a warrior in contrast to the last.

This was a bit strange to say, but Lynn’s legion could not wait to fight against the enemy whose numbers were five times greater than theirs. This was Lynn’s legion, all right.
