Urban Martial Arts System - Chapter 6
“This is the latest tester?” Zhou Ping looked at the fragments littered all over the floor.
Director Zheng and the others were completely speechless. The entire audience seemed to choke. Everyone’s mouth was open, but there was no sound.
“I doubt it!” In the end, director Zheng couldn’t help but make a rude remark.
“What’s my score?” Zhou Ping asked.
“It doesn’t matter how many points you got.” Director Zheng returned to his senses and held Zhou Ping’s hand with excitement.
“My daughter is fourteen years old this year. She is absolutely beautiful. Should I introduce you to her?”
Zhou Ping shook off Director Zheng’s hand and looked at him with contempt.
“Ahem…”
Secretary Zheng’s face blushed.
“I’ve never seen this kind of situation. We’ll need time to analyze and determine your score.” Director Zheng looked at Zhou Ping like a treasure, making Zhou Ping’s forehead numb.
“Then, am I good enough to enter Qingyang University?” Zhou Ping didn’t care about his grades. He only cared about whether or not he could enter Qingyang University.
“You’re enough. Absolutely enough.” Director Zheng nodded repeatedly.
“Can they send me the acceptance notice now?” Zhou Ping asked again while glancing at Li Xiaoyi.
“This one…” Director Zheng hesitated. “According to the regulations, the admission notice must wait until the exam is completed and the results are available, and then, the student will fill in his intended school. The school will then select it. The entire process takes one month at the earliest.”
Hearing that it would take another month, Li Xiaoyi, who had been desperate and limp on the ground, suddenly came back to her senses.
“Is there a faster way? It’s better to be admitted immediately.” Zhou Ping raised his eyebrows.
“That… is not bad either.” Director Zheng’s words made Li Xiaoyi nervous again.
“You know, there will always be some geniuses in every exam. Some of them are already famous before the exam, but some are not. Of course, these geniuses are not as good as you.” Director Zheng looked at the debris lying on the ground and smacked his lips.
“Those who have always been very famous can woo colleges and universities in advance, but for those dark horses who weren’t known, the school they can get into depends on which can contact them first. As such, the Martial Arts Bureau has contacts for each college,” Director Zheng explained with a smile.
“In fact, we generally don’t take the initiative to contact Qingyang University. But since Young Master Zhou chose Qingyang University, I will contact them personally.” Director Zheng dialed on his phone, and somebody immediately answered.
“This is Qingyang University.”
Director Zheng talked to the other party with a smile, but after a while, his face became gloomy.
“Hateful!”
He brashly hung up, and Director Zheng couldn’t help but curse.
“What’s wrong?” Zhou Ping instinctively knew something was wrong.
“The person in charge at Qingyang University does not believe that any examinee can blow the tester with one punch.” Director Zheng became pale.
“You didn’t tell them my identity?” Zhou Ping snorted.
“I did, but…” Director Zheng hesitated, but decided to come clean. “After I said it, they refused to believe it more.”
“Huh, it seems that our Zhou family’s name doesn’t work!” Zhou Ping also took out a cell phone and dialed a number.
Beep! Beep!
“Hello? Boy, no more money? Forget it. How much?” As soon as the phone was connected, the voice from the opposite side made Zhou Ping sweat. Director Zheng, who heard the voice, was even more sweaty.
“I didn’t expect Zhou Ping to be so favored. Fortunately, he didn’t show off his score.”
“Dad, does your son only ask for money?” Zhou Ping argued bitterly.
“Well, you’re still going to die,” the old man on the other side replied.
“Dad! Don’t talk to me like this! I doubt I’m your son if you are like this.”
“Smelly boy, what did you say?” a female voice took over, and Zhou Ping sweated more.
“Mom, you too!”
“Nonsense, what are you talking about? Your dad’s going to have a meeting later. I’ll transfer you the money.”
“I’m really not asking for money…” Zhou Ping said with a wry smile.
“Are you saying that what you said is true? Son, you can’t lie to your parents!” Hearing Zhou Ping’s statement, his parents didn’t immediately believe him.
“Yes. The principal and Director Zheng are by my side. They can testify.” Zhou Ping rubbed his nose.
“Wait.”
Zhou Ping’s father hung up and called again within two seconds.
“It’s a video call. I can’t believe it!” Zhou Ping yelled as soon as he got on the phone.
“Smelly boy, don’t make trouble. Where’s Director Zheng?” his father asked impatiently.
“Here.” Director Zheng quickly stepped forward.
“Is it Zhou Guorong?” Director Zheng looked at the people on the video and asked with certainty.
“It’s me.” Facing Director Zheng, Zhou Guorong changed his toe. “Is what Zhou Ping said true? Don’t lie.”
“It’s true. Absolutely true. Many people have seen it with their own eyes.” Director Zheng quickly promised.
“My son is finally out.” Zhou Ping’s mother choked up.
“Zhou Ping, punch the tester again and show me.” Zhou Guorong still couldn’t believe it. My son who was planning to give up on martial arts was actually a peerless genius?
“But…” Zhou Ping replied, which made Zhou Guorong’s heart race.
“But what? You cheated?”
“No, it’s just that there are no more testers.” Zhou Ping smiled in embarrassment and added, “I blew them all.”
“Then bring another one.” As soon as Zhou Guorong finished his sentence, several teachers came with two testers.
“Our school still has a few in stock. It’s just not as good as the one brought by Director Zheng,” the principal said modestly.
“The average is enough.” Zhou Guorong’s face became solemn. “Zhou Ping, show me.”
“Alright!”
Zhou Ping threw a punch.
Boom!
Two testers placed very close together were blown almost simultaneously.
“Double kill.” Zhou Ping praised himself.
Looking at the phone, he found that his father was staring at the tester that was blown away, his eyes seemed to be a little red.
“Zhou Guorong has a successor.” After a full half minute, Zhou Guorong sighed.
“Don’t worry. I will contact Qingyang University.” Zhou Guorong returned to his senses, his eyes full of excitement.
