Villain of the urban TV/Movie Time-Travel - Chapter 14
Chapter 14: Face-Slapping
Yang Yu led Yoon Chan-young to a secluded corner and got straight to the point.
“You like Cha Eun-sang, don’t you?” He stared intensely at Yoon Chan-young, watching for any reaction.
Yoon Chan-young’s expression tensed up for a brief moment before he quickly composed himself.
Although he masked his emotions well, there was no fooling Yang Yu. He immediately knew he had hit the mark.
That makes sense. If it were really just a pure friendship, that would be absolute nonsense. He’d never believe it.
“I can help you win over Cha Eun-sang.”
“You misunderstand, senior. Eun-sang and I are just close friends. It’s not what you think. Besides, I already have a girlfriend.”
Yoon Chan-young denied it immediately.
He had only been caught off guard by Yang Yu’s sudden accusation, which made him momentarily nervous. But now that he had regained his composure, there was no way he would admit to something he had never told anyone.
He also knew that Cha Eun-sang had no feelings for him. If she did, after all these years of knowing each other, they would have been together already. Kim Tan wouldn’t have even had a chance.
“Alright, whether you admit it or not doesn’t matter to me. I have nothing to lose. But an opportunity is right in front of you. Once it’s gone, you won’t get another chance. Think carefully.”
Yang Yu smirked playfully as he watched Yoon Chan-young’s internal struggle.
Yoon Chan-young clenched his fists, his face filled with hesitation. He was clearly battling his emotions.
At the end of the day, he was still a high schooler—too inexperienced to hide his feelings. A few words from Yang Yu had already shaken him.
Seeing his hesitation, Yang Yu decided not to push too hard. Everything had to be done in moderation.
“Go home and think about my offer. If you decide, contact me. But don’t keep me waiting too long—I’m not a patient man.”
He tossed Yoon Chan-young a business card and patted his shoulder.
This guy could be a useful chess piece. If played well, he might bring some unexpected benefits.
Empire High School – Between Classes
Yang Yu arrived at Yoo Rachel’s classroom right during the break.
Students gathered in small groups, gossiping.
Kim Tan and Choi Young-do flanked Cha Eun-sang on either side, both trying to assert dominance.
Meanwhile, Yoo Rachel rested her chin on her hand, staring blankly ahead, lost in thought.
Yang Yu walked straight up to her and tapped her forehead.
“Ow!”
Yoo Rachel rubbed her head and shot him a cold glare.
When she saw it was Yang Yu, her eyes widened in shock. “Why are you here? Didn’t I tell you to wait for my call?”
Yang Yu winked at her and ruffled her hair.
“I just couldn’t wait to see you. Is that so wrong?” he teased.
Yoo Rachel slapped his hand away and glared at him with a blank expression.
To outsiders, the scene looked just like a playful couple flirting.
The classroom instantly erupted into chatter.
“Who is that guy?”
“Is he Yoo Rachel’s boyfriend?”
“Wow! A total heartthrob!”
“He’s openly flirting with her right in front of Kim Tan! That guy’s dead meat.”
The classroom turned into a circus, with most students eagerly waiting for Kim Tan’s reaction.
Choi Young-do, in particular, found the situation hilarious and laughed openly while looking at Kim Tan.
Kim Tan’s face darkened.
He didn’t have feelings for Yoo Rachel, but she was still his fiancée in name. Watching her flirt with another man in front of everyone felt like a slap to his pride.
It never occurred to him how Yoo Rachel must have felt watching him chase after Cha Eun-sang every day.
Kim Tan stormed over to Yang Yu, his eyes burning with anger.
“I don’t care who you are—I won’t let this slide,” he growled.
He grabbed Yoo Rachel’s wrist, intending to drag her away. He needed answers about her relationship with this man. Even if he planned to break off the engagement, for now, she was still technically his fiancée.
But Yang Yu wasn’t about to let that happen.
He patted Kim Tan on the shoulder, provoking him further. Kim Tan, already furious, swung his fist.
Before he could land a hit, Yang Yu countered with a swift Bajiquan move—Yan Wang San Dian Shou (Three-Point Strike of the King of Hell).
PAH!
PAH!
PAH!
Three heavy strikes landed squarely on Kim Tan’s face.
Then, with a burst of force, Yang Yu sent Kim Tan flying.
This was his first time using Bajiquan since acquiring it, and the results were very satisfying.
Kim Tan lay on the ground, unconscious, his face swollen like a pig’s head.
Yang Yu had always disliked Kim Tan’s character in the drama. He had a handsome face and the title of Empire Group’s heir, yet he acted like a spoiled brat—arrogant in public but weak in essence.
His father had arranged a perfect fiancée to secure his future, and any smart person would have held onto that opportunity. But not Kim Tan. He threw himself at a random “wildflower” on the streets while completely ignoring his actual fiancée.
To Yang Yu, that kind of guy was nothing but a total fool.
