WTF, The Centuries-Old Ancestor In Our Family Take Concubine Again! - Chapter 175
Chapter 175
The banquet ended late at night. Bi Xia Sect prepared generous gifts for all attendees, but the gift for Li Su was especially lavish. While there were no spirit stones due to Bi Xia Sect’s own heavy consumption of them recently, the sect—being the strongest Tier-3 sect in the Northern Region with access to vast resources—made up for it with other treasures.
Li Su’s gift included a large collection of rare spiritual herbs and precious materials. Additionally, there was 20 pounds of Monkey Wine.
Though the wine was highly prized, and giving it away made Bi Hai feel a bit reluctant, he decided it was worth it to express gratitude to Li Su.
Bi Xia Sect also offered accommodations for the Nascent Soul cultivators, but most of them declined, choosing to return to their own sects to ensure everything was in order. Li Su also bid farewell.
“Fellow Daoist Li, you’ve just broken through to the Divine Transformation stage and need time to stabilize your cultivation. I won’t keep you, but once you’ve settled, you must visit Bi Xia Sect. I’d like to have a proper discussion with you then,” Bi Hai said, extending an invitation.
Li Su agreed politely.
Several flying ships then departed northeast.
“Xin Shui, Xin Yue, I’ll head back to the Panacea Peak first. I’ll visit Watermoon Sect later,” Li Su said to the two sisters.
“Alright, husband~” they replied sweetly.
With that, Li Su parted ways with them, leaving only himself, the sect leader, and her aunt.Having been away for over a year, Li Su naturally wanted to return home to check on things.
The sect leader and her aunt were aboard a separate flying ship. The sect leader stood at the bow, bathed in moonlight, her eyes reflecting the countless stars in the sky. She looked as dazzling as ever, her presence serene yet commanding.
Li Su wondered what she was thinking. After some hesitation, he put away his own flying ship and joined them on theirs. However, once aboard, possibly because of the aunt’s presence, Li Su found himself at a loss for words.
After several days and nights of travel, the group finally returned to the Flying Immortal Sect.
“Xiao Xue, I’m heading to the Spirit Herb Garden,” the aunt said, taking her leave.
Now, it was just Li Su and the sect leader.
She led the way, with Li Su following silently. They continued towards the back mountain, where the sect leader lived. Neither spoke, but neither broke the quiet, either.
The back mountain remained as it always had: a simple hall surrounded by secluded chambers for meditation. For centuries, the sect leader had lived here. Her surroundings were strikingly austere—no signs of embellishment, no noticeable changes over the years. The only thing that had grown stronger was herself. Finally, the sect leader stopped walking. Li Su stopped as well.
The sect leader turned to face him, her bright, intelligent eyes meeting his. Her delicate features carried an unspoken grace.
“Li Su, do you have something to say to me?” She asked.
Li Su froze. Now that he had reached the Divine Transformation stage, the goal he had held onto for over two centuries—since his mortal days—burned brighter than ever. He wanted the sect leader to have his child. No, the child was just the result.
What he truly wanted was for the sect leader to become his woman. This desire had become an obsession, buried deep during his weaker years but now unshackled by his newfound strength. But what should he say?
“Master, will you have my child?”
Before Li Su could speak, the sect leader chuckled softly. Her laugh was enchanting, as if it could bring a thousand flowers into bloom, making Li Su’s heart race. It was the first time he had seen her laugh like this.
“Master, you’re so beautiful,” he blurted.
His words made her cheeks flush with color.
“Congratulations, Li Su,” she said softly.
“Thank you, Master,” he replied.
Li Su spoke earnestly.
“Reaching the Divine Transformation stage makes you a powerful figure wherever you go. However, the Divine Transformation stage is a pivotal transition. It has a significant impact on future cultivation. You must not grow complacent. Stay grounded and focused on your cultivation; the road ahead is long.”
The sect leader offered her advice, but halfway through, she paused. It struck her that advising Li Su to focus on cultivation might be futile.
In over two centuries, how many concubines had he taken?
Especially since arriving in the Northern Region, Li Su’s pace in this regard was astonishing, to say the least. Yet, despite all this, he still managed to advance rapidly to the Divine Transformation stage.
The sect leader decided to leave him to his ways. After all, her disciple had surpassed her now—what grounds did she have to give advice?
“Master, do you still have the pills I gave you earlier?” Li Su asked, his tone filled with concern.
“I do,” she replied. “I plan to enter secluded cultivation. I want to make a full push for the Divine Transformation stage.”
A push for the Divine Transformation stage?
It made sense—she had an Immortal Spiritual Root.
The saying “Nascent Soul at a hundred years, Divine Transformation at two hundred years” was often associated with cultivators possessing Immortal Spiritual Roots.
Given that her foundation had been repaired and she’d already spent over a decade cultivating afterward, she likely wasn’t far from breaking through.
Though her foundation had suffered during the Golden Core stage, it had undoubtedly been thoroughly rebuilt. If she could leverage her deep foundation, there was a good chance she could truly make a smooth breakthrough to the Divine Transformation stage.
“Master, take these pills,” Li Su said, producing an assortment of pills from his storage. “These are specially refined to strengthen the soul. This one is a Foundation Spirit Pill, useful for forming the primordial spirit. This one accelerates the condensation of true essence…”
He handed over a vast number of pills he had painstakingly refined over his year of travels through the Northern Region with Bai Ling.
Li Su had brought his entire inventory along with him, including all the tools and materials needed for refining pills and crafting items. He could even forge his own storage pouches now, creating ones with immense capacity.
Recently, he had begun researching higher-grade items like storage rings. Though the lack of prototypes and certain rare materials posed challenges, Li Su was confident that with just a single storage ring and the right resources, he could easily replicate the design.
The sect leader stared in surprise as Li Su handed her another pile of items.
“Master, I wish you a swift breakthrough to the Divine Transformation stage,” Li Su said as he placed the storage pouch in her hand.
Her gaze lingered on him for a few seconds before she quietly accepted the pouch.
Though she had once been his mentor and supported him in the beginning, in her eyes, Li Su had done far more for her over the years.
“Thank you, Li Su,” she said sincerely, her voice steady but filled with emotion.
She turned and walked deeper into the back mountain. It was time for her to enter seclusion and strive for the Divine Transformation stage. This seclusion would likely last a long time.
