I haven’t read this book yet… but given that the author hasn’t researched peerage enough to know that a baron ranks higher than an earl it’s hard to have high hopes for it.

if you feel familiar with this novel almost as though you’ve read it before but don’t recognize it for the most part know this novel is based on another novel called “The Defeated Dragon” but with a system and hastened plot.
