Urban Martial Arts System - Chapter 230
Chapter 230: True Qi Realm Monster Beast
Fist, kick. Without enough True Qi, Zhou Ping could only fight over it bit by bit, while also protecting Wu Jingxian. A monster hit Zhou Ping’s body, Zhou Ping’s eyebrows remained motionless, and its claws caught Zhou Ping’s body, leaving only white marks on his skin.
Zhou Ping’s body was too strong, and these monsters would not break his defenses.
But even if one monster beast didn’t matter, ten monster beasts didn’t matter, how about one hundred? A thousand? Ten thousand?
What’s more, the monsters in the beast tide were not a single species. There were also many monsters like giant bears.
Boom…
A huge monster beast slapped Zhou Ping with a paw, and Zhou Ping did not move and slapped the monster to death. But Zhou Ping’s mouth also spilled a trace of blood.
That’s right, Zhou Ping’s body was indestructible. However, Zhou Ping’s internal organs vibrated under the impact of countless huge forces, and the internal injuries were not superficial.
There was never a shortage of huge monsters among monsters.
Fortunately, his True Qi was also recovering, and Zhou Ping left about 20% of True Qi as his last hope. He used all the extra two layers of True Qi. When the infuriating energy was less than 20%, he would continue to fight melee.
At this time, both Zhou Ping and Wu Jingxian were already covered in blood. Red, white, blue, black…There were different colors of monster blood.
“Haven’t….. have you played out yet…” Zhou Ping was already panting, with countless aches and pains all over his body.
“Could it be…my idea…is wrong?”
Every time he raised his hand, it seemed to lift a heavy load. Zhou Ping’s movements were getting slower and slower, giving the monster beast more and more opportunities.
“The strength of the monster beast… is getting stronger…”
From the initial influx to the first stage of Martial Intent Transformation, and now, approaching the peak of the third stage of Martial Intent Transformation, the monster beasts that appeared are getting stronger and stronger. Zhou Ping didn’t know how long he could hold on. He estimated that when a monster beast of the True Qi Realm appeared, it was the time he would die.
Numb, waving his arms mechanically, Zhou Ping’s consciousness began to become dull.
“Aping! I see the edge of the beast tide!”
Wu Jingxian’s surprise scream made Zhou Ping’s mind clear.
“The edge of the beast tide?” Zhou Ping ignored the claw drawn by a monster beast and looked up.
Sure enough, at a distance of about 100 meters, there was an edge without monsters.
“Kill!” Seeing hope, Zhou Ping felt the strength of his body gushing out again.
Boom…
Originally left as his last hope, the 20% True Qi that had not been used burst out fiercely.
“”Palm of Tathagatha””
With a roar, a large swarm of monsters died.
Hope was the best stimulant! Zhou Ping seemed to be beaten up. At this moment, all fatigue and pain were all thrown aside.
Ten meters, twenty meters…
Zhou Ping got closer and closer to the edge of the beast tide.
But Zhou Ping’s True Qi was also getting less and less.
Boom!
After exhausting the last bit of True Qi in his body, Zhou Ping was less than ten meters away from the edge of the beast tide.
But these ten meters seem like a moat!
Because the monster beast in the True Qi Realm appeared.
Like a king, countless other monsters gathered around the monster beasts in the True Qi Realm. As if feeling instinctive, Zhou Ping and the True Qi Realm Monster Beast glanced at each other at the same time. Zhou Ping was bloodied and embarrassed.
True Qi Realm monsters were five meters high on all fours, and its muscles were majestic and domineering.
The two were about three hundred meters apart, and there were countless other monsters in the middle.
Zhou Ping breathed a sigh of relief. With so many barriers of monsters, the monsters of True Qi Realm could not get through.
For the first time, Zhou Ping began to thank the dense and endless monsters. The monster beast in the True Qi Realm was also bound to move forward, and soon surpassed Zhou Ping on the horizontal line.
However, the monster beast in the True Qi Realm obviously did not intend to let Zhou Ping go. It suddenly turned his head and opened his mouth violently.
Roar…
A fireball bigger than a washbasin blasted towards Zhou Ping like a cannonball.
Zhou Ping turned around without hesitation and put Wu Jingxian in his arms, and met the fireball with his back.
Boom!
The earth-shattering bombing revealed a large pit on the ground, and the surrounding monsters were killed and injured.
“Ah Ping…” Wu Jingxian’s cry sounded, and then fell heavily to the ground.
As the fireball hit Zhou Ping’s back, Zhou Ping used his back to catch the fireball for Wu Jingxian, and then threw Wu Jingxian out abruptly.
Up high, Wu Jingxian saw Zhou Ping being flooded by the exploded fireball, and then she fell outside the beast tide.
No monster came to attack her.
On the opposite side was a raging beast wave, but there seemed to be an invisible gap. Outside the beast wave, there was no monster. Even if the tide of beasts rushed past Wu Jingxian, not a single beast escaped from the tide of beasts and attacked Wu Jingxian.
But Wu Jingxian definitely didn’t have the feeling of being left behind.
How powerful was the monster attack of the True Qi Realm? Even if Zhou Ping blocked most of the power, the remaining power did not make Wu Jingxian feel better.
Wu Jingxian who fell on the ground was limp. The aftermath of the fireball caused her internal organs to be severely injured, and her face was even more scorched. For a time, Wu Jingxian could not move.
“Ah Ping….” Wu Jingxian ignored the heart-piercing cry, even if she was severely injured.
“Ah Ping……”
The corners of Wu Jingxian’s eyes were broken, and two drops of blood flowed from the corners of her eyes like tears. Although she couldn’t stand up, Wu Jingxian crawled slowly toward the tide of beasts desperately.
“Ahem…”
There was a coughing sound, and Wu Jingxian became stiff.
“I said… we can’t tolerate… We came out, so don’t go back… go back.” Zhou Ping’s weak voice fell in Wu Jingxian’s ears, almost like a natural phenomenon.
“You’re okay… It’s so good… You’re okay… It’s so good…” Even Wu Jingxian, who thought Zhou Ping hadn’t cried for a moment, her tears leaked out like a flood.
Zhou Ping’s voice sounded behind Wu Jingxian, but Wu Jingxian couldn’t even turn her head.
“I… won’t die…. Don’t worry…” Zhou Ping’s voice was intermittent, causing Wu Jingxian’s heart to just let go.
“Aping, Aping, you can’t sleep!” Thinking of something, Wu Jingxian shouted loudly. The shouting touched her internal organs, and there was a sharp pain. Wu Jingxian spat a mouthful of blood in a “wow”.
“Don’t worry… this is not a TV show”
Zhou Ping’s voice became weaker and weaker.
“Ah Ping…” Wu Jingxian squirmed with all her strength and turned.
She finally saw Zhou Ping
He was completely dark, and she couldn’t see if he had any clothes left. If he didn’t move, everyone would think it was a charred corpse. The only thing that proves that Zhou Ping was still okay was the pair of eyes that were still bright.
“Ah Ping…” Wu Jingxian tried desperately to crawl around, and finally climbed to Zhou Ping’s side.

Holy shit…… This is the first time an actual sense of tension has been created. Even the last chapter still felt like like Zhou Ping still had it handled with just some difficulty. Obviously, he and Wu Jingxian (and I am assuming that Luo Qing lady) will come out alive, but this is still very much the type of scene that uses the trope where the hero is sent to death’s door, and a cliffhanger will not let us see how he gets out of this situation.
